Yep I completely agree
You do need a Earth Line from the PC to Earth but that is internal wiring and nothing to do with the mains supplied all Earth Lines need to be internal.
I would also fit a good UPS of the Filtering Kind that relies on Mains Voltage to charge the battery and then the battery supplies an Inverter to power the computer.
OH and just make sure that the Earth is actually a Earth driving a bit of copper into the ground may not necessarily be a good earth you need to soak the area that the copper spike is in with salty water. Failing that you could always tie a Earth to Metal Water Pipes.
Changing the hardware to Apple will not make much difference if any by itself as the Apple PS's are still basically the same as a good PC Power Supply and needs an Earth.
Of course if you don't want to do any of the above then your only option is to stop recording so maybe that covers everything.

Noise Filter
Another thing you need is a good AC line noise filter.
I'm not talking a filtered power strip here. I'm talking about building a chassis with a high quality noise filter built in.
You want the filter with the best cross between lowest cut-off frequency and highest attenuation.

Sola would be one source for isolating transformers.

Remove the space between the W's for the links to work.

some thoughts...
wow. but i'm not surprised. in the u.s., the power supply is kept as clean as possible. but in india, it sounds like a different story.
when it comes to dirty power from the wiring, then you need to use a filter that is conceptually the same for cars, whereas it cleans the power used for the car radio's because the spark plugs and the alternator produces a lot of noise that the radio picks up.
also, the wiring around the pc, is might be producing a magnetic field. the wiring to and from the pc plus the wiring from behind the walls.
for the most part, computer cables should be unraveled and straight and apart from each other.
and if you have an old fashion crt monitor, then its cable should be the expensive one which has "shielding", and the monitor itself should be moved as far away as possible from the pc too. moving the monitor away, straightens the cables and minimizes a magnetic field from being formed when the cables are twisted, looped and intertwined with each other.
also, if you have an old fashion tv and radio's, big or table top size, then its also giving off a magnetic field. also, old fashion rabbit ear antenna's love and attract magnetic fields. (for example, i have a modem and when i hold it with my hand, then touch a set of old rabbit ears on the same shelf with the top side of that same hand, i feel electricity passing between my hand.)
so lastly, separate your peripherals, like modems and usb hubs. because even though they are functional, they are cheaply made and also create magnetic fields and pass them on to the cheap cabling.

To add to the above, you need to check how the audio cables are wired. The shield of the audio cables should be NOT be connected to the an amplifier input plug, which prevents signals traveling on the shield from entering the amplifier. That is what ground loops are all about in the reference to my post above.
