Wipe folders from a Hard Drive

Is there a program to completely delete a folder from a drive, and not have any recovery tools find it?

CCleaner also has a wipe delete files
hi

i f i was you i would delete the files and recreate them with 0 bytes same with the folder,
then delete them again and use any of the prior mention utilitues to wipe the free space, then i would defrag the drive, then creat the folder of the same name again, and fill it with file name,s

then delete them again, use a DOD level wipe/fileshedder
dump a bunch of files on there to fill up the free space (soem named the same as the folder/files)
then delete them
defrag again and

do a wipe on the free space again.

then test with some recovery utilites to see if i could get the files back. happy

yes alot of work, so it may be cheaper and easier to clone the data to a new disk, and physically destroy that one . happy lol im being silly)
