FILL COLOR NOT SHOWING IN ANY EXCEL CELLS

What do I need to do to get the fill color to show in Excel cells?
I'm using XP SP-3 and Office 2003

How are you trying to do this.....
Are you doing a direct fill, i.e., position on cell, select fill and color from tool bar?

Yes I'm doing a direct fill
I also loaded a spread sheet with lots of colored cells but they do not show up on this computer.

Try this.....
I did a quick search & it seemed to work for many others with the same problem.


Suggestion #1:
Make sure the High Contrast setting is not enabled on the Display tab of the Accessibility Options in the Control Panel.

Suggestion #2:
Try Tools > Options > Colors and touch Reset
