Hi
We are into real estate and property developer segment located in india, recenlty from past 6 months started CRM operations with SugarCRM and we are in golive stage, now that management wants to go for the second phase of application for the below requrement:
We need a system where our employees can login and raise request for different work items of different projects.
We should also have facility to add documentations /proposals along with the work order request.
The work order request goes through approval workflow (Manager / VP Technical / Head working committee)
after the work order is approved, we need a WO pdf to be generated by the system for it to be mailed to the vendor
Need to maintain our vendor & their address information in the system also want to track supplier invoices and their payments in this system also need some other reports.
We have a limitations in investment for the above work due to this we did contact the openerp and came to know this is possible form the openerp. can anybody sugget is this move of mine is correct, can we go for openerp. please suggest.

Anything is possible
From an IT perspective it's a bit difficult to guess what your exact requirements are and exactly whether the basic application will meet your requirements.
There are no ERP packages that exactly fit all your business requirements unless it's created specifically for your industry and customized for your company. For OpenERP there is an Application Builder that is used to customize existing modules or create new ones.
Some of the features you require are included, such that their 'Invoicing' module would, in all probability, be able to print invoices, and the invoice printing process would not work so well unless the system stored vendor names and addresses.
