Regarding powerpoint presentations
when i open a pps file contained in it a flash video it is saying some controls are not regd on this computer. What may be the problem?

Not to be redundant but
If the error message is controls are not registered, then that is the problem.
Registered means there are entries in the Windows registry, either a software installer program does that, or one must do it manually using the regsvr32 utility...but you need to know the precise name/location/version of the missing DLL.
Remember that some controls work better with one web browser vs. another...what web browser are you using?
