I recently had Microsoft Australia fix a problem with opening Office 2007. The problem was fixed but now, even though I have a very good internet connection, I cannot get on-line with IE, Firefox or Thunderbird. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, 1TB HDD and 8 gig RAM. I have Nortons Internet Security.

I have seen this before and
when I turned off Norton Internet Security the problem went away. Turned it back on and it came back. Had to do some tweaking to Norton Internet Security settings to make it all work.

Yes, Me too. It seems that the "firewall" from Norton is either set too high, or it has not ben setup for that particular connection (wi-fi or ethernet). Either turn off Norton, like Sue T says, or configure the firewall to let the traffic pass through.
