When I open MS Word files received from a client in Norway, MS Word starts looking for a template file on their K drive. How do I stop these files from looking for that template?

Depending on version of Word...
In 2007, you goto word options > advanced >file locations and then fix user template and/or workgroup template settings so they point to where your templates are

Thanks, I'm using 2010 but found what you were referring to. Looks like the workgroup template path is the culprit.
