Good day all.
I have tried several ways to boot my server with SATA-only interfaces in RAID/AHCI mode on Windows XP 64-bit OS. I get the BSOD crash with error 7B everytime.
Here is what I've tried:
1. Bypass the AHCI check with Windows setup and hitting F7 instead.
2. Placing the ahci drivers on a USB memory stick and by using F6 to load the additional drivers.
3. Slipstreamed the drivers with SP2 into a new installation DVD.
Any more ideas, anyone?
Regards,
Bjoern
PS. Motherboard is a MSI 970A-G46 annd CPU is AMD FX-6200 with 8Gb memory.

Go into your BIOS.....
In your BIOS settings, go to the setting with "AHCI" and change it to either "compatible" mode or "Ata" mode.
Hopefully this will sort out your issue with your blue screen of death and give you a clear and clean install.
