the box around the current statement line in c++ ide

i am migrating from vb6 to the .net -- c++. my statement line has a white box around it that is both distracting and does not allow me to see the underscores.

i need to get rid of it. help!!

found it.

tools options text editor highlight current line check box.

i suspected it was somewhere.
