You are trying to write an application to create executables from flash content?

If you need to ask how to do this, your chances of making this work are very low.

At a high level, there are two issues, one is to convert FLV files to something like AVI files....there are about a dozen apps for that already.

The second issue is taking an AVI and buiilding a fully functional player as an executable. First of all, the file would be huge and would not run on every platform.

Secondly, why?

There are tons of good players out there already.

If I'm right, the author wants to learn how to convert Flash into an executable file?

As I know there are several ways to do this. You can do this by creating a projector. Or you can use different programs. For example, a flajector. There are online converters yet.

Sorry, I did not see your question earlier. Online converter you can find at the flash forums. Also, look on YouTube. There you will find a lot of converters and instructions for using them

Agree with Robert Miles. There are online converters. They are quick and easy to use. Also U can use projector

-Open the fla with Flash.
-Goto: File -> Publish Settings
-On the Publish Settings menu, select/tick 'Windows Projector (.exe)
-Finally, click Publish
