Server requirments or not!

I have a piece of software (Free) (GoPDM) that I want to run on a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit HP Workstation, also I need to run this on a Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit HP Laptop.
My question is "I do not have any server facilities and this software requires a server, is there any way of running this without going down the route of purchasing a server and relevant software?" Any help would gratefully received.
I really do not want to have to buy a server and software as things are really tight.
