Powerpoint 2010 embedded video won't play
In the past I have played embedded video from youtube. Suddenly last week when i click on the slides I get this message, 'To play the selected item, you must install a later version of the Adobe Flash Player. To download the Adobe Flash Player, go to the Adobe website.' Close or WEB help are the options. I clicked web help and downloaded the latest version and still get the message. I have no idea what else to do. When I go into the slide properties the videos are there...they just will not play from the slide.

Try just bookmarking the videos or saving the links to your desktop.

Have you downloaded the correct one?
The default download will change depending on which browser you use to visit the Adobe site. If you used anything other than Internet Explorer, you'll have pulled down the version for "Other browsers". Powerpoint probably needs the version for Internet explorer, so try opening IE and visiting the Adobe download page from there.
