Cannot uninstall Limewire

When trying to uninstall Limewire from XPProSP2, I get an 'Internal failure' box with error number 0x80040707. If I hit OK, I get a 'Limewire' box with 'Access is denied'.
Does anyone have any thoughts, please?

You need AdAware from Lavasoft to knock that program loose from your system. Available at http://www.lavasoftusa.com
