No there is not much difference in the two operating systems
1)Win98 gives you better driver support and bug fixes, not to say that it does not have a few of it's own
2)It gives you support of USB and DVD support
Other than the Interface change there is not much change in WIN95 and 98
It has improved networking capabilities and added two monitor support, and not to forget Net Meeting
Offered networking improvement.

Windows 98 can be configured for FAT32 or FAT 16, Windows 95 can only be in FAT 16.

Earlier version of DOS and Windows do not work with 32-bit file system (FAT32).

Good luck.

There is not much difference between Win 95 and 98:
- Win98 uses both FAT16 and FAT32 while Win95 uses only FAT16 (this will waste a lot of disk space)
- Win98 is more stable, support more new hardware.
