i have a IBM machine which is model number is IBM THINK CENTER 8434PA1, and i want to know this machine is support to LINUX operating system

Rather than a model number which isn't listed on the IBM site the specifications of the unit would be more useful.

But as a general rule any computer that has a HDD and a CD ROM is capable of running Linux but obviously the more powerful the computer is the more complex Linux versions and applications it can run are.

If you where to place this in the Q & A section you would get a faster response along with an auto-generated e-mail every time someone answers. That way you are more likely to get help from someone in your own time zone that can help you out and in a shorter time than would be encountered in the Discussion area.
