ACCESS 2000 SECURITY

By GW0001 ·
Does any one know of a good way to secure my database so users can not view the tables (from the database window) or link to them from another database, but will still allow the form to read/modify data?

Thanks

You can use the Workgroup security feature of Access and get your users to join the workgroup so that you can lockdown Access databases to your satisfaction.

It sounds to mwe the the best solution is to split your Database.

You can split of your tables into a secure location while leaving the all other product in a usable state.

Just go to tools/database utilities/datbase splitter and follow the wizzard.

this proceedure also increases the sppeed of the database.

Have Fun
