Access 97 Printing Macro

By parier ·
I have a database, rahter simple that I need it to print a report for the same record that I am on, for example, if I am on record 4 of 10 in the form, I only want page 4 to print on the report. Is there a way I can do this from a button assigned to a macro. I know how to make macros and assign them to buttons, but I couln't figure out how to tell it print current record/report only.

Thakn you.

Using the prit out method may be your option.
In Access, open the sample database NOTHHWIND.MDB.
Create a new form.In the objects column, click forms, and then click Design in the Database
Use the toolbox to add command button to the form. After youlocate the button, you might see the Command Button Wizard. If you do click cancel
Right click the button, and choose Properties from the shortcut menu.
Place the insertion point in the OnClick box and click the ellipsis(...)button
Choose code builder from the Choose Builder dialog box,and click OK.
For more info choose Help from the Help Menu in Visual Basic Editor.type printout method in the office assisant wizard or answer wizard

I have written a system in access 2000 for my employer that creates purchase requestions and had to do a similar thing.

The easiest way I have found is to create a query to look at the table you are entering information in on and set the criteriaon one of the boxes to

[forms]![name of the current form]![name of the control box you want as criteria].

Then, create the report from the query and when the report runs it should only pull out the record you are working on because of the criteria.
