Access W2K PC via wireless Pocket PC

By Atieshpatel ·
I am currently running a wireless network within my home. The PC's are running Windows 2000 and run file and printer sharing. I would like to access files and printers via my wireless Pocket PC 2002. Is this possible and if so, how?

I don't know if there's a native way to do it, but I went out and got z2 PocketLan and it does the trick. It does a whole lot of stuff, but the main thing is that it does let you connect to other shared resources on your network. I've got a Samba share with all of my MP3's on it that I listen to on my Dell Axim and a printer that's shared through my W2K pc. They have like a 15 day trial that will continue working after the 15 days is up as long as your PDA doesn't do a reboot. Otherwise, their $15 price is a small price to pay for such a great little app. Just do a search on google and it should pop up. HTH
