Accessing CD-ROM drive

By shibu ·
I have purchased a new Hard Disk and I want to install Win 95 in it. After installing the Hard Disk I have made settings to boot from CD in the CMOS. On booting the system does not identify the CD-ROM drive. How can I access the CD-ROM drive?

Did you make sure that you have a bootable cd rom? Not all CDs (even Windows cds) are bootable. If you want to get your CD working Make a boot disk using another computer and use that to boot your system, you should them be able to use your CDROM drive.
