Active directory Operating System

hello all..

i'm a new employee in a very huge company.. i work as an IT support.
we want to migrate our 2000 AD, but i have to do a research to find out wether to migrate to 2003 AD or to Longhorn AD.
so what are the tools that i can choose to make the right comparison , or what are the questions the have to ask to determine which os to use??
can i find a job aid software on the web that can help me regarding this issur?

they are the only ones who would take this request seriously, imho. i mean, longhorn?? i can't even get my huge multinational company to let me give Vista a whirl.

large company

Windows Server 2008 Supposed to be out some time in, ha ha, 2008. It's different that W2K and W2003 .

If you work for a large company, then they probably have a lifecycle program for IT hardware. This lifecycle program would include hardware , software lifecycle, training and yearly budgeting.

you analysis should take in account the lifecycle program the company has, and for Windows Server 2008, include training for those who will administer the those servers.
