Adding Filename Option to AutoText

By rrobinson ·
I accidently delete the filename option from the AutoText list in Word 97. How do I get it back in the list?

If you don't have any important macros, close Word, rename Normal.dot and start up Word again. It will create a new Normal.dot with the default entries. If you want to create your own, in an empty doc hit Ctrl+F9. Inside the brackets type FILENAME. (It will look like this:
{FILNAME}, but you can't just type the brackets.
Now highlight the field and go to Insert> AutoText>New and give it a name.
