I have an etower 466id and want to add another hard drive is this possible?

Hi, According to the system specifications, Yes you should be able to add a drive to your system. There is one available drive bay. See the review:

Just a couple of notes on adding a second drive;

If you are running any OS other than XP, if your CD drive is "D", it will be assigned a new drive letter when you add a new hard drive.

If you buy a large hard drive you may need or want to divide it into multiple partitions. There is a good article on partition theory at www.aumha.org

Check if your PC has any drive size limitations. Or if you need a BIOS update to deal with large drives.
Some drives come with software to deal with thedrive size limits, others don't.

If your present drive has more than 1 partition, set up the new drive to be an extended dos partition. That way, your existing drives will keep the same letters.

If you are going to make your existing drive the master, and the new drive the slave, I recommend that you buy the same brand of drive. They will just work together better.
