Additional Domains in Exchange 5.5

By tgleason ·
I currently use Exchange 5.5 in our company. We have about 5 names that reference our company. I want to add additional domain names to my internet email connection to give employees more than one email address that corresponds to the other domain names.
How do I configure Exchange to pull mail for more than one domain address.

Go into Exchange Administrator, highlight Connections and double-click Internet Mail Service. On the Routing tab, click the box for re-route incoming SMTP mail and enter the domain names as appropriate with a destination of <inbound>. Then, you'llneed to have your ISP create DNS MX records for each domain name and point them all to your Exchange server.

Keep in mind, though, that there can only be one reply address per user mailbox so individual users will only be able to send out mail with the return address assigned to their mailbox.

regards!

In the Internet Mail Service properties on the Internet Mail tab and the Connections tab there are buttons that say specify by email-domain. Do I need to configure anything in these places.
