Adobe Dreamweaver CS3

By jlinne77 ·
Looking to purchase this software for building a website. Website is for information about a class and signing up for any upcoming classes. Will this be suitable for this purpose?

Overkill and not exactly what you want

Have you looked at PostNuke or moodle?

PostNuke gives you a very robust dynamic website in a very short period of time.
Moodle is an open-source 'course management system'...either one is free.

http://moodle.org/

For a more advanced website you could use Dreamweaver to make very cool content to manage with PostNuke. Dreamweaver is more of a content design/creation tool, while postnuke or moodle are complete web applications.

By itself, you would have to do a whole lot of work to create something like a class signup using strictly dreamweaver.

With PostNuke, you could just plug in the moodle module, or even use moodle on it's own.
