Anyone know of a free program to remove the shaking from a video?

By Slayer_ ·
We got some videos from our vacation, and some, such as the ones shot from the helicopter, are pretty shaky, even with the anti shaking features of the camera.

Anyone know of any free software that can process a video and help remove some of the shakiness (I assume by cropping it on the correct side per frame)?
Windows or Linux is fine :)

Thanks.

A free program

to stop a video from shaking... the only one I can think of is AA - but it will only help reduce the shaking on future videos, not the ones you've taken already.

It looks good, does the free trial have any limitations? I have about 60 videos to process, but only about 10 of them are in desperate need.

Nevermind, says it makes a big red cross over the video for the trial version. 130 bucks is far too much for a batch processing program. Surely the FOSS community has built something similar?

Do you currently have any video editing software installed that you're using to edit the video in general? If you do, I may be able to suggest a plugin to get this result for your current editing software of choice.

to see if any have the feature(s) you want.

You may also want to check out a distro designed for multimedia - run it live with everything pre-installed, what? http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&q=64+studio There seems to be another as well: http://www.chainsawlinux.com/about.html
