asking to type password

I HAVE AN OLD IBM PC WITH SURE PATH BIOS WITH WINDOWS 95 INSTALLED. I GAVE THE PC TO I FRIEND FOR USE AWHILE AND I HAVE NOW GONE FOR THE IT AND TRYING TO BOOT TO WINDOWS AND IT KEEPS ASKING FOR ME TO TYPE MY PASSWORD AND ENTER AT POST NOT AT WINDOWS LOGON. I TRYIED TO ACCESS THE BIOS AND IT STILL ASKED FOR THE PASSWORD. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM AND WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET RID OF THE MESSAGE AND BOOT TO WINDOWS.IF THERE ARE ANY TOOLS TO BYPASS WINDOWS LOGON PASSWORD I WANT TO KNOW, PLEASE AM AN ELITE TECHNICIAN, WHO NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT TO BECOME GURU'S LIKE YOU.

Your friend set the boot and bios passwords. Give him a call and find out what he set them to!
If he forgot, unplug the PC and remove the bios battery from the motherboard. After some time frame (just leave it out overnight, that should do it) pop it back in and fire it up. This will cause the bios to reset and you'll have to set it up again. Some motherboards have a jumper to clear the bios.

At any rate don't loan a PC to this friend again. :-)
