Auto-forwarding email on Exchange 2000

By Shanghai Sam ·
I'm running Exchange 2000 as my primary email server. Is there any way to automatically forward an incoming email to an external address? For example, the email is sent to enduser@mycompany.com. I would like to redirect it to enduseralt@earthlink.net or enduseralt@aol.com as soon as it hits the server. Preferably, I would like to do it at the server level and avoid having to setup a rule for each user. Any suggestions?

As the Exchange Administrator, edit the mailbox and in the Delivery
Options's Tag select Alternate recipients and specify the external email address

Here are a couple of other spots you might want to look at:

Just crate a custom recipient like exchange 5.5
To do this in win2k you have to use user and computer MMC and in there
Cerate contact and mail enable it rest you should be able to finger out

Don't you just love these people who ask questions, and then can't be bothered to rate them, or reject them and just close the question? They expect advice for free, and can't even be bothered to reward points. TechRepublic should set something upfor those who use this system honestly, and boot the rest out.
