Auto hide

I’m trying to move my Offce 2000 toolbar to the edge of my screen. No matter which edge I try to use, I’m told there’s already an “auto-hide” toolbar using that section. I’ve changed screen resolutions and did everything I can think of with the mouse. All to no avail.

Right-click the Start button,select Properties,you will select the General or Task bar tab,if the button to hide the task bar is selected then de-select by removing the check in box,exit and try moving the task bar now.
