    AVI files error

    When I play a AVI File on Windows Media Player 7, an error says “No Combination of filters could be found to render the stream”.

    Anyone can help?

      Media player 8 and the 9 beta are out now, try one of those or another product called zoom.

      This is for Media Player 5.2 … but it’s the exact same error you are getting. Try the registry patch, but be sure to back upthe keys beforehand (just in case):

      Also try downloading DIVX from http://www.divx.com. Some AVI format use these drivers to play them.

      My answer is the same with #3, but i think the best way is to download “The Playa” program to play it. here is the link http://www.webattack.com/get/playa.shtml
      when you install it, it also have Div X to install in your computer. before i can’t play AVI file, i have download the Div X , but it doesn’t work, so i downloaded The Playa, now it works very good
