When I play a AVI File on Windows Media Player 7, an error says "No Combination of filters could be found to render the stream".

Anyone can help?

Media player 8 and the 9 beta are out now, try one of those or another product called zoom.

This is for Media Player 5.2 ... but it's the exact same error you are getting. Try the registry patch, but be sure to back upthe keys beforehand (just in case):

Also try downloading DIVX from www.divx.com. Some AVI format use these drivers to play them.

My answer is the same with #3, but i think the best way is to download "The Playa" program to play it. here is the link http://www.webattack.com/get/playa.shtml
when you install it, it also have Div X to install in your computer. before i can't play AVI file, i have download the Div X , but it doesn't work, so i downloaded The Playa, now it works very good

Good Luck
