Bad PnP Serial ID Checksum

By cary ·
Every time I start up my Gateway P133 I get an error stating
"Bad PnP Serial ID Checksum"
"Device ID URR Serial Number 31F531F5"
I have the options of either hitting
"F1" for Setup or "ESC" for boot.
What can I do to get rid of this?
I have checked all my System Info. and I don't see any conflicts.

The BIOS and Operating system cannot configure the device automatically and you must ID the device,it may be a expansion board or another device that the conflict with IRQ setting, try reseting the board in another slot or check to see if it is properly seated in the slot it occupies.

Start pulling cards until the problem disappears.
If all of the cards are out. Reflash the BIOS.
