Base Security Analyzer

By kgutch ·
Hi,

I need to be able to run Base Security Analyzer from my server but I need to be an admin on each machine. I know the local admin on each machine and can run it from the command line but then that would necessitate placing the password in the bat file ( I want to automate the process).

Does anyone have a suggestion or method of doing this without inserting the passwords?

Why not just use the domain administrator account to remotely do it? Your using the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer, right?

You can select multiple machines with the new version and do it all over the network.

but I get a message saying that the user is not an admin on the machine.

I wonder if I have set something up incorrectly or there is a group policy affecting it?

The account name should be entered as "domainname/administrator" -- Make sure your entering it right.
