we are telecommunication service providers.We are in need of a Trouble Ticketing system,to maintain our customers compliance.Can you suggest which software holds good with the following functionality:
1.Create a Ticket
2.Clarify about the Ticket
3.Assign a ticket
4.Track the Ticket
5.Close the Ticket
6.Maintain the Ticket lifecycle
7.Maintain the Ticket Repository
8.Revert a Ticket

You need to do some more homework

and define your other requirements as well
such as
How many users?
Web based?
Groups of users?
What sort of infrastructure you have to put it on?
Reports?
How much are you prepared to spend - up front and for maintenance?
etc, etc

then perhaps try a Google search for "help desk system" or "trouble ticket system" and you'll find plenty of options to check out.

We use Numara Track-it and it has worked well for us for more than 6 years. I would recommend investigating it for your business. The cost is very reasonable.

It has all the functionality you mentioned, but since we use it internally you will need to check with them to see if they have a hosted solution to accommodate your customers (which I am assuming are remote).
