best way to prepare for MCSE

By ipsubnet ·
hi all,
i am currently going through my CCNA training and would like to prepare for MCP on my own. i have decided that i will be preparing for exam 70-270 first of all. can it be done without the help of some training institute. for rest of the exams, i would take some training and hopefully i would have achieved my CCNA by then. is that a correct approach? what is the best way for preparing for 70-270 exam?
plz advise.

Depends on experience

70-270 is a fairly easy one if you use XP daily and are comfortable configuring it. Picking up an Exam Cram book would work quite well for a quick reference.

The same can be said for the server exams for 70-290, 291, etc. If you don't use these daily you might have a tough time with them. This is where you would want to find outside hands on training.

The electives may be the hardest part for you and you would definatley want to find a training class to take care of these.

Don't forget to search out the braindump sites that are out there too.

Good luck with your studies.
