Depending on your motherboard, there may be a jumper by the cmos battery specifically for the password. By setting this jumper (refer to motherboard online documentation for proper setting) and powering on the computer, it will erase password. You would then return jumper to original setting. An alternative to this would be removing the cmos battery assuming it is not soldered onto the motherboard. The downside to this is that you will need to make note of all your bios settings prior to removing the battery as all settings will be restored to default, thus changing any special settings you may have. It varies on how long you will need to keep the battery out before the password is erased. Generally it is several minutes before you can putit back in.

Check the manual and their should be a jumper setting on the motherboard that you can disable the BIOS password setting
The other option is to locate the CMOS battery and remove from the motherboard, let stand a few minutes, make sure you log all your CMOS configurations in case you leave it off to long,to which you will loose the configuration settings

If the standard options listed by the other respondents don't work, I came across a utility to clear the cmos password.

It was posted on the utilities page at www.amptron.com
