Boot disk errors can't find net.*msg

By mckb ·
I have created a boot floppy disk to access
my network from DOS. I am using a Xircom
REM56G-100 pcmcia. I receive two errors,
the first is that net.msg or neth.msg can
not be found and the second is the NEMM.DOS
is not installed.

The errors prevent me from connecting to the
network from this laptop.

If I type NET at the dos prompt I do not get the
error, but if I type net initialize as in the auto
exec I receive the 'can't find net or neth.msg.

Any ideas ???

Sincerely,
Barry
