Boot Image

I have 35 hp computers with the same specs. I want to create an image of one of the computers. Then make that image bootable. Scenario- if i encounter a problem with a PC and it needs a reload; i want to just insert my CD/DVD; boot from it and image the PC

But the question is what software are you using to create the image?

There are free one's available such as Clonezilla, but I have never used them before.

Basically the steps are, create the base image, sysprep it, image it and then burn your dvd with the image and make the dvd bootable. making the dvd bootable will depend on what software you use to burn the dvd's.

Just started checking this out to replace 3rd party tools.

The best part is making the Windows PE bootdisk is painless. Its basically a Windows Vista emergency boot disk. Loads the network and everything. ImageX is included for making the hard drive images. (not o the boot disk, you run from the network location where the images are stored.
