boot to an MS-DOS floppy disk on Alpha

By brian.kennedy ·
Can anybody tell me how to boot to an MS-DOS floppy on an Alpha Server. What I need is the correct syntax of the boot file: line within the OS selection menu in the BIOS.

thanks

Brian

Thanks Tim, I figured this out myself, after sitting down and thinking about it. However, it's good to hear that somebody else thinks on the same wavelenght as me!

There is no way to boot to DOS on an Alpha Box...the Alphas can run NT, 2000 (if you can find it), Unix in many variants, and VMS.

If you let me know what you're trying to accomplish, I may be able to help though. I have 4 Alphas here on my homeLAN....and always enjoy lending a hand to another enlightened user. :)
