Brand new e-mail system suggestions

By traub ·
I have been put in charge of installing an e-mail server for a 20-30 win9X client to NT 4 server system. I am looking for suggestions on a relevant e-mail system for this size system. The current system will not grow much anytime soon nor will the OS change/upgrade.

You can always use Exhcange if you are looking for extended e-mail functionality and group-ware type collaboration. IF not and you're happy only with pop3/imap type mail, use one of cheap products on the market (www.ipswitch.com or www.deerfield.com).
I hope this helps. If you identify your goals, I'll be happy to help you further.
Regards,
Radu

A simplier and easier to learn e-mail server that I have found to be just a reliable and cheaper then Exchange is Argosoft's e-mail server. Go to www.download.com and search for argosoft. It is free for a limited number of users yet fully functional. It provides bot pop3 and web based e-mail.
