Browser with large text

By Borg7of9 ·
I am using Windows XP and all of a sudden, my browser (Ie6)displays large fonts. You would think its a video setting, but all other menus and windows work normally.The resolution has not changed (1280 x 800)(32bits) and the DPI is at default of 96.

Its hard to see web pages this way, anyone know whats up?

Is your browser text size set to large or largest?
From the browser's menu bar;
VIEW>TEXT SIZE>

In addition to oz's suggestion
Press CTL and roll the mouse wheel to change the font size.

The first thing I tried was text size, this had no effect on the problem.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A FIX FOR THIS??

by csimpson In reply to Did you ever find a resol ...

Hi, a friend of mine is having the same trouble with their IE, larger text has appeared all of a sudden and not all images are loading from pages

all settings are normal, and it's only browser windows that are affected, IE and the browser window in AOL9.0

the thing i can't get my head around is that another user on the same machine is not experiencing these problems!!!

i can't for the life of me figure this out for them. the fact that it's only his account that seems to have the issues suggests to me that it's a browser specific issue, however i can't see any settings that are out of place

i've installed AV as they weren't running any, and also started updating, as they didn't even have XP sp2!!! is it possible that this will fix, just can't see it however as the other account is ok?!!!!!

any help would be gratefully appreciated!! cheers
