Bypass the proxy Server

By Seidof ·
Good day Fellow Tech Fundus.

I have a little problem that i'm hoping you could assist me with.
There are websites that are blocked from accessing and I would like to inquire if there are any software's that I could download, or scripts I could use to allow me access.

I have novice knowledge on Networks, so try to keep you questions as simple as possible.

We are on a LAN with a DNS, and a Proxy Server with port of 3128. When one tries to log onto Internet explorer, they are required to enter a user name and password prior gaining access to the internet. But only a number of sites are allowed to be accessed. Some of the sites that are blocked are youtube, facebook etc.

Is there a way I can bypass this restriction, at the same time keeping my ip address anonymous?

Ask your network administrator to grant you access

by robo_dev In reply to Bypass the proxy Server

Typically there is a reason for rules and laws.

For example, your network administrator may have a family, so working 12 hour days removing malware or rebuilding PCs can be the direct result of people not following the rules.

Content filtering is there since in many cases the law and/or parents demand it (in the case of public libraries or schools), the risk of virus/malware infection is very high, and some web applications such as games, torrents, or streaming music/video can consume all available bandwidth.

Similarly, if the network is being used for work or educational purposes, and you are playing Minecraft or downloading stolen content, often gaming or torrent traffic may consume all available network bandwidth.

When we drive an automobile, there sometimes is the need to drive on the sidewalk at 100 mph, but typically that sort of thing is reserved for an ambulance rushing to save a life, not a teenager late for a date.

Not everybody uses Windows! So, virus threats are not the problem for everybody. The main reason for cutting you off is that, the boss don't want you to login toy facebook. Hahahahaha
