Cable net with different ip address.

Hi,
I am having cable internet and the gateway is 10.10.215.1, subnet mask is 255.255.255.128 . My lan is configured in 192.168.0.* and subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. I want to connect my internet cable in switch so that all an browse net. I can change my internal IP addresses.

You can put dual ip's on one of the machines (tcp/ip advanced properties) and install a proxy server on it and have the clients browse that way or buy a cable router for 60 quid @ inmac.co.uk prod id E442268

It seems you didn't describe everything you have installed and all IP addresses you have. Usually they use followind scheme:

~ISP~ 10.x.x.x --[C.Modem]-- 12.x.x.x --[User PC]

PC is getting LEGITIME INTERNET IP ADDRESS. There is no another way to do this.

In your case, to be able to share Internet with your internal PCs, you should install Broadband Router and Switch/Hub (If you have more PCs than ports on Router). And you will have a scheme like this:

~ISP~ 10.x.x.x --[C.Modem]-- 12.x.x.x --[Router]-- 192.168.x.x == # of PCs
