There'd be a small margin of difference, i would suggest.
except for the "shoe" thing.....but that would be a good distraction....plus...shoes are much less expensive that cars

Making her walk everywhere is good you should do it all of the time.
If Purple was to drive everywhere she would blame you for making her FAT! So take away the cars and add lots of heavy stuff to carry so she gets fitter and thinner. 
Don't you realize that by doing this Purple has an excuse to buy more shoes and just be thinner not to mention fitter and less likely to suffer from heart problems. See by removing the cars you are looking after her.
