Can MSSQL & InterBase run concurrently?

By mdouglas26 ·
Can MSSQL Server 7.0 & InterBase 6.0 (or any
other database server for that matter) run
on the same server hardware at the same time
without conflict?

Don't know about Interbase but I have run SQL Server 7 & Sybase SQLAnywhere on the same box. The only problem I could see would be if both databases used TCP & both listened on the same port.
