Can no longer get on my business website- Desktop only

By mrom77 ·
This one is baffling me;

As of Wednesday, 11/7/07 I cannot get on my business/marketing website from my desktop only. This is the Only website I can't get on.
I can get on my site with my laptop with a wireless connection in the same room as my desktop. My friends can get on my site from their desktops across the country.

I have IE 7.0 and have had no problems with this at all up until this date. I have also tried to get on my site with FireFox to no avail.

I have done;
1. dns flush
2. deleted all history, cookies, etc.
3. run all spybot and registry programs to fix.
4. called my IPS with no help at all

My desktop is not picking up the website at all. Could their be some kind of coruption problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Mark

have you tried another browser? Opera or Firefox?

you could also check your hosts file

Windows NT/2000/XP Pro c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts or c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Windows XP Home c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

open it in notepad.

it should look like this

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

if it doesn't reply back
