cannot access to a shared file

By hannah ·
I share the drive, NT 4.0 with SP6, and give full access to everybody. But nobody can access it or map it. It keep said access denied. Cannot browse it either, not in the Exploer or unc path either. Why?

Hannah,
Are both your share permissions and ntfs permissions allowing the users full access? Check permissions on both the shared tab and the security tab.

I grant everyone and domain users full controls both on the shared tab and the security tab. I can see the shared folder, but when I try to access it, double click on it, nothing happen, the hour glass is sitting there forever. and then it tell you that "\\yourcomputer\sharedfolder is not accessible. The session was cancelled." Please help. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked to see if a group that you gave a share to has no acess.
