Cannot Move Contact to Public Folder!

By Chorlton ·
I have a 'Customers' public folder, and a 'Dead Customers' public folder, (for ex customers).
I can move my personnel contacts to dead customers, but not to customers, (I get a permission error message). I can move pre existing dead customers to customers, but cannot move dead customers, (that came from my Contacts), to customers!, (as I get the same permissions error).
I cannot find where to change these permissions!

The problem is with the contacts folder, not the calendar

The owner of the Public Folder should be able to alter it with no problems.
If you can't locate the owner, you'll have to access Exchange Administrator and have the "Show Roles and rights" enabled, Select the proper server, add the your user's logon to the Roles and Rights box and configure the Roles and Rights properly (little white box at the bottom).
If you don't have the "Show Roles and rights" enabled, you'll need to:
Open the Administrator for each server, select Tools, Options, Permissions, Tab, mark Show Permission for all obejts...
and
Display Rights and Roles.

That is the leght of Rights and Roles you can go with Exchange.

Good luck!
