Cannot see all All Programs icons

By Geoff59 ·
When I click <Start> <All Programs> I get a message which says "Some items cannot be shown. There is not enough room to show all the items you have added to the Start Menu.To display them, please choose smaller menu icons, choose a smaller number of items or unpin some items.>
How do I display all the items? Are they in a separate folder or can one put them into a separate folder? Where in XP Help does one find the solution? Its a real problem when I install a new program and I cannot see the shortcut to open the program because there is no shortcut on the monitor screen.

Go to Control Panel and click on Task Bar & Start Menu.
Click the Start Menu tab and then click the Customize button.
You can set your settings from there.
I use and prefer the small icons setting.

Right-click start, select properties, Select coustomize.

This will give you access to your start menu settings
