I have all the firewalls turned off and have checked everything I can think of. What can the problem be? I have shared files set up on both units and file sharting is turned on. The wired pc allows me to view the shared files on both pc?s in the network.

Update firmware on router? Next right-click on the folder that needs to be shared and click on sharing/security; if not try to drag the files to the my shared folder and then go through my network places, select windows network, select the wireless client and there u go.
      OR

Configure all computers to another workgroup by right clicking my computer select properties find the tab with your computer name and network name change the network name of each computer to whatever u want and should allow each computer to talk to each other

I have a similar problem, my host is Windows XP PC with a Linksys WRT54G router, and my notebook, Windows XP with a Linksys wireless G PCMCIA card. Both are XP Home editions. I am able to access the internet just fine thru the notebook, but cannot see the shared files from the host. When using the Network Setup Wizard on the laptop it appears to only try to set it up thru a disconnected LAN. The wireless connection is not listed. Could it be due to Symantec AV client security?
