Cant browse network

By jpave ·
I have a win2k stand alone server in a workgroup with win 9x computers. When i try to browse the network (linked with hubs and switches)I get an error message that I cannot browse the network. I can ping others on the network, I can resolve names toip addresses on the command prompt. I have enabled 'netbios over tcpip' and filled in the WINS server ip but when I go to any computer on the network I get the message 'network is not available'
Any help out there? This has gotta be easy!

I've run into this before and have solved it by using regedit.exe or regedt32.exe and browsing to \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters and changing the 'IsDomainMaster' key from False to True on your Server/Domain Controller. Reboot your server and you should be able to browse the network.
