can't see my DVD in My Computer?

I installed a DVD-Rom in my computer,
I can see it in my Bios, I see it in my system devices,

Works when I play a DVD Movie!!

I just can't see it in My Computer folder pn my desktop

Running WindowsXP Home

Some programs can hide drives from being viewed. Have you tried accessing it thru a command prompt?
Or type the drive letter in the address bar (e:)?

Try this program
http://www.x-setup.net/downloads/
and hide the drive and maybe it will be viewable now or unhide the drive and check to see if you can view it. Hope this helps.
